Clan Tremere is extremely interested in the bloodline that Prince Darwin is supposedly part of.  It has been reported that he is immune to our magick to a certain extent.  As you know, we track and when needed, eliminate all bloodlines which share this trait.  Not much is known about the bloodline of the prince and more information is needed.

Over the centuries we have discovered a total of 10 bloodlines that were immune to our magick.  Two of them are contained within the clan.  We have managed to successfully remove 4 of them (1 belonging to Clan Gangrel, 1 to Toreador and 2 within our own clan), leaving 6 existing known lines.  Here is what we know of these lines:

• 1 Ventrue line – this line belonged to one of the founding members of the Camarilla.  He was the first Ventrue Justicar but disappeared sometime within the 16^th century.  It is believed that he is either in Torpor or that he has been destroyed.  He had no childe that we know of.
• 1 Brujah line – currently belongs to a Brujah elder within the Camarilla.  It is believed that he has only created 2 Progeny and both are under watch at this time
• 1 Ventrue line – this line belongs to a Ventrue elder in London and his lineage is still being traced.  Currently there are less than 8 kindred believed to belong to this line.
• 1 Giovanni Line – Currently residing in Italy, this line is contained due to the fact that there are no male children currently in his family line and so we feel there is little danger of extending this line.  He continues to be under watch.
• 1 Toreador line – this is the Toreador Elder in Barcelona, but this has yet to be verfied.
• 1 Ravnos line – this was reported back in the 18^th century but has never been verified.  As you know, the Ravnos are not exactly easy to pin down and we are not sure if this is a true immunity or perhaps some type of Chimestry side-effect.

Needless to say the danger of a new bloodline emerging with this trait can be disastrous.  We need to know if this prince really is immune to our magick and if so, if this is a new bloodline or if he belongs to one of the existing lines we are tracking.

Your main goal is to establish a Tremere presence within Palm Beach once again and to discover what you know about the Lineage of the Prince.  What we know about him is as follows:

He was the Ventrue Clan Elder within the City of New York at the turn of the century.  He first became noticed within New York around 1896, when the previous Clan Elder was summoned back to Vienna to serve as an Advisor and Archon of Clan Ventrue in Europe.  At this time, the Prince of New York, a Ventrue named Ethan, selected a venture named David to be appointed the new Clan Elder.

David was considered the “right hand man” of Prince Ethan and as such was spared several traditions which are normally held by clan.  One of them was to recite his lineage – he has not done to this day.  It is not known who his sire is.  This was a big problem for us in New York because as you know, we keep strict records of all lineages as well as possible abilities and weakenesses.

It is unclear all of the reasons why he left New York, but we did have a hand in that.  We did put a great deal of Pressure on Ethan to force him to undergo a bloodwalk.  When he refused, Ethan agreed to allow us to do it anyway, without his knowledge, which is when we discovered his immunity to our magick.  Shortly after this, he left New York for Florida.

Once he arrived in Florida, he started to use the name of Darwin.  There is a strong possibly that he is much older than he appears and just has been changing names for a while now.  Unfortunately it is impossible to track his lineage via magick, we will have to do it through research.  The problem is that after the events in New York, and given the fact that the Camarilla has given him free reign within his territory, we really need to get close to him to find any information about his past – and that means getting him to agree to allow us back into the city.

Tread lightly, there is a strong possibly that he is dangerous as his age is unknown.  Also considering the special treatment the Camarilla has afforded him, it is possible that he may have allies within the Inner Circle – so the political ramifications can be severe.

Your goal is to allow the clan back into the city somehow – possibly gain his trust.  It was reported to us that he regularly visits a Gypsy who resides in Ft. Lauderdale, although she may have relocated by now.  Her name is Clarissa, we were never able to get a last name.  This can be used as an advantage, as he may be superstitious and we can use that to our benefit.

That is your primary mission – everything else is secondary – do us proud.

Main Contact – Boss Type – Tyler – seems to have the DEA in his pocket.  Receives many shipments from Haiti and from South America.

Lately it appears that the higher priced Cargo has been something very different and Unique, coming in from South America.  The strange thing is that it appears to need to kept very cold and requires a lot of special handling.  They are not sure if Tyler is aware of this or if his people are doing this without his knowledge. But what is known is that A LOT of money is changing hands with this new “product”.

There appears to be no one really in charge in FLD – so corruption runs all over the place – cops have their hands in it like no tomorrow.  Goods that move between Miami and Lake Worth, which seems to be the crime center in Palm beach goes through someone they call “The Prince”.  None of these “special” goods are being taken to Lake Worth – it seems that all of those goods are staying in FLD.

Special Deliveries

The goods have been delivered to many points – Depending on the roll – the characters will learn the delivery locations:

These goods generally come in either small boxes (hand-sized) to large coolers.  Normally only about one shipment per week comes in.

There have also been special deliveries made from Africa – specifically from Angola, Camaroon and Morocco.  These deliveries generally come in either large pallet sized crates or small steel boxes.

Drug Traffic

The Drug traffic is fairly large in South Florida and Miami is at the center of it.  Although Tyler is “officially” in charge, there is man named Luiz that most deal with directly.  Supposedly Luiz reports to Tyler but people are unsure.  Luiz is the leader of a gang called the Black Dragons which is mainly run out of Little Havana.

Luiz has strong connections in most of South America and parts of Mexico.  They mainly import Cocaine, but also have a small traffic business of marijuana (profits are much lower on this).  Several DEA agents are in their pockets and they always have up to date Coast Guard patrol schedules, sting operations plans and much more.  They are able to basically bring their drugs in from South American without too much effort.

Once the drugs arrive in Miami, about 80% of them stay in the Miami-broward area.  About 10% of all shipments make it to the WPB territory.  Drugs that come in and out of Palm Beach are very controlled and since Palm Beach does not have a “drug problem” much of the DEA and other agency resources are kept in Miami.

Slave Traffic

The Black Dragons have recently, within the last 10 years or so, expanded into slave trading.  They import girls from South America and lately, some from Europe as well, to work in sweat shops and as prostitutes.   The “friendlier” girls are moved into the Prostitution rings while the less friendly and less attractive girls are sold at a discount to local sweat shops.

As of the last 2-3 years, they have expanded this into selling girls for domestic use.  Supposedly, they are being bought by very wealthy families to be used as maids and house staff, but once they leave the rings, no one really knows what happens to them.

No slave trade is taking place in WPB, but it is beginning to start branching off into FLD.  Several girls have been sent to the Tampa and Jacksonville areas as well.

Westin’s getaway –

Alanwa wakes up she is very weak – she hears an alarm blarring in the room.  She is very weak, she can barely lift her head up – she feels close to death.

Westin and Matthew are working like nothing is happening.  The door in the back of the room bursts open and Justicar Gregor walks in – his black Justicar robes flowing behind him.

G – WHAT IS HAPPENING? DID YOU KNOW THEY ARE BREAKING IN? DARWIN AND HIS PEOPLE ARE BREAKING IN!

W – Calm yourself, Gregor – they cannot break into here.  I have plenty outside to keep them busy.

G – What do you mean they cannot break in – I walked in here fine.

W – Because I have it coded to let you through – it won’t let them through

G – This is all wrong, Westin – you said they would not find out – you PROMISED ME they would not find out.  And now they are here – HOW DID THEY FIND OUT ABOUT THIS PLACE?

Westin looks annoyed and stops for a moment from looking at his monitor and turns to face the Justicar.

W – Listen to me bloodsucker – They don’t know about this place – they have no idea what I am doing here – there is NO WAY.  Now if you want this done, you need to leave me alone to do my work and stop worrying.  I will call you when I need another sample.

G – Fine – HOW LONG? This project is overdue as it is

Westin goes back to working on his keyboard, basically ignoring Gregor for the most part.  He talks without even looking back at Gregor.

W – You cannot rush what we are trying to do here, Gregor – we are working with life – something you know nothing about.

Gregor stands behind Westin, looking over his shoulders for a bit.  Then he looks around the room, he looks at the screen across the room which you assume to be some type of security camera showing what is going on outside (but it is too far for you to see).

G – Alright – but I am not sticking around for this – I cannot be seen here.

W – Who’s asking you to stay?

Gregor huffs and turns around and walks out the same way he came in.  The alarm keeps sounding – every once in a while you see Westin look up to a monitor in the back of the room and laugh.

You feel a trembling in the room – like an earthquake almost.  Westin looks up at the monitor and stands up – He runs over to it.

W – What the???   MATTHEW!

Matthew runs over to where Westin is – he looks up at the monitor as well looking concerned.

M – what is it?

W – Check the pocket integrity

<room shakes again>

Matthew runs over to another monitor and yells back.

M – Someone is breaking through Sir.  Its not the bloodsuckers – its something else.

W – It’s a mage – it has to be.

M – Sir, if they break through the pocket, then all of them can get in here.  Sir – the entire lab will be compromised.

Westin looks around for a bit – a bit panicked.  He points over to a large wall unit on the right of the room.

W – Get the samples – and grab as much tass as you can

Matthew starts grabbing these large bin looking things – he puts everything in a metal rolling cart.  He opens the refrigerated area and pulls tubes out – he goes over to the side and pulls a refrigerated container – he opens it up with a whoosh and starts to fill it with the samples from the fridge.

In the mean time, Westin is pushing the large central table to the side.  You notice under it is a symbol on the floor – a circle with some markings on it.  You know that the markings are for some type of magick, but it is not any type of Tremere magick you have ever seen.  They begin putting all kinds of stuff in the center of the circle.

<Thump Thump Thump>

W – Ok – do we have everything?

M – The hard-drives – we need the hard-drives – <Matthew moves over to a server rack and pulls some HD from servers. >  We’re set.

W – Wait – we can’t leave this here – for them to find.

Westin looks around and starts to think.  He looks over to the console of computers on the left and walks over to it and starts typing.

M – <points to Alanwa> what about her?

W – They won’t find her either.

<THUMP THUMP THUMP>

Once he is done typing, Westin walks back up to the circle where they packed as much as the room as they possibly could.  He raises his hands up in the air, and you see his eyes flash a solid white color and he starts to chant in a language you do not understand.  The circle where he is standing starts to glow and his chanting gets louder and faster.

A wind starts to circulate in the room , in a clockwise direction, getting stronger and stronger.  You see papers fly off the tables and any small and loose items are now caught in the windstorm that has been generated in the room.  Westin louder and faster, and the room starts to crackle.  You see what almost appears like lightning coming from the circle itself crackle around the entire room and around Westin.  After one large crackle a large lightning bolt strikes the very center of the room and everything in the center of the circle disappears.  The entire room crackles and you feel a shift – almost like a reality shift.   Like 2 realities clashing together with one another.

<THUMP THUMP THUMP>

The double doors on the left side of the room fly open and Darwin appears – with him you also see Neil, Raven and Scott.  The other side of the room the door swings open, and Brennagh, Joshua and Clarissa come in.

Darwin looks at Clarissa and looks both surprised and mad to see her standing there.

D – What are you doing here?  What is this place?

Everyone walks in and looks at everything.

Darwin walks over to Alanwa’s globe – and tries to punch through it.  His hand sizzles as it comes into contact with the green glow of the globe and he pulls back.

D – What is this? <he whispers and walks closer to the Globe, looking down on you on the floor > My god – what have they done to you?

Joshua walks over – looks at it closely

J – It’s a life bubble – Its surrounded by the power of pure life.  You shouldn’t touch it – its dangerous for you. <he says looking at Darwin>

D – Get her out

Joshua motions over to brannagh…

J- Brannagh come look at this – its quite unique

Brannagh walks over and looks at it –

B – This is fascinating – they managed to create a dome that extracts Tass from this vampire.

The other orb – the one with the Lupine in it fizzles and finally stops glowing.  They both look over at it.

B – And this one – extracts spirit and life from a Lupine – this is really advanced and smells like technocracy to  me.

Scott – I hate to break the whole mad scientist vibe you have going on – but if I am not mistaken, this here <he points to a monitor> looks like a countdown -  maybe this place will explode or something? I feel like I’m trapped in an episode of star trek right now…

Joshua walks over and looks at it –

J – He is right – this is wired to explode.  This is typical of the Technocracy – we have to get out of here.

D – Fine – just open this so we can take her out and we will go.

Brannagh looks at it intently for a while and looks back at Darwin

B – I can’t open it – this is locked – it needs either a code or a short – and I don’t have enough command of entropy to short it.

Joshua walks over – “Where is Tristan when you need him eh?”

D – Well, open it! <he screams at Brannagh>

D – What do you mean you can’t?

Darwin looks at Joshua

J – Don’t look at me – I don’t do the whole death thing.

Darwin gets aggravated – grabs a stool nearby and tries to smash the dome with it.  The stool shatters and the dome is intact.

B – We need to leave now.  This place is going to explode.

Darwin looks at the both of them and looks at the dome

D – I am not going without her – she is one of mine – she is my responsibility.

B – We can’t help her – plus – its just another vampire – the world is full of them.

Darwin looks like he is about to hit Brannagh his claws come out and he looks like he is about to leap.  Brannagh looks back at him and you see a faint yellowish glow around her as she looks back at him…

B – Don’t even think about it Vampire.

D – explain to me why you cannot open this. I AM NOT LEAVING HERE WITHOUT HER. <Darwin screams>

S – D, we have to go

D – <looks at Brannagh and points to the dome Alanwa is in> EXPLAIN IT!

B – I already told you – it needs a code or it needs entropy – I don’t have either.

B – <sigh – walks over to the dome> This is life energy – ok – its surrounded in life – It needs death energy to short it out – that or a code.

Darwin looks like he is thinking about something he looks back to Raven

He puts his hands on the globe … his hands sizzle and you see what looks to be flesh burning.  His hands become dark and burned – like charcoal and it moves up his arms, all the way into his chest.  He starts bleeding from his eyes, nose, mouth, ears and chest as well.  Finally, after about 30 seconds or so, the shield shimmers and disappears.

Darwin collapses on the floor – looks over to scott

Mertle – Wait a minute – isn’t Henry the new Clan Elder now – isn’t it up to him now if I can have one or not?

Meeting of James and Gavin

<describe warehouse where he is kept – dark and dank…. He is chained to the wall, and on the other side – directly across from him he sees a Lupine – in full Lupine form – also chained to the wall.  The Lupine seems to be struggling against the chains, and as he struggles, the flesh around its wrists seem to sizzle>

You have been here a few days – every so often a kid comes in with a tranq gun and shoots at the Lupine from a distance.  The Lupine stops struggling and falls asleep.

You hear the kid say to the other..

Kid – Why do we have to keep these ones alive anyway – its just a hassle..

Man in the back – Just do it – we don’t make the rules we just do what we are told.

Kid – if you ask me, it’s a waste…

The daylight comes within inches of you – you have rarely ever been awake during the day, and now, in this situation, you cannot seem to sleep.  Every 8 hours or so – the lupine is awake again, and every 8 hours or so someone comes in to tranq it again.

Finally, 8 hours have passed and the Lupine is not tranqued – you are not sure why this is.

After a while – Gavin comes inside …

G – Good evening! You must be James – it is a pleasure to meet you.  I would bend down to shake your hand, but you see – I do not like to get dirty =)

G – You have seen this man, correct? <shows him a picture of Darwin>

G – I believe you know him as a Prince – Prince Darwin of Palm Beach, correct?  Well, I will need you to find out some information about him for me.  What he is up to, what he is doing, what he knows – that type of thing….

He walks over to the Lupine who is growling and trying to attack him even from his chains…

G – You know, when someone has lived as long as I have, you pick up a few things here and there.  Me? Im a student of people – I like to study them.  To see how they react to things.  And do you know what I have found – it is that no matter which “person” you are dealing with, Lupine, human, Vampire – all of them – no matter who – they all react the same way to things they fear.  And do you know which way that Is? It is irrationally.  People who are terrified, will do horrible things to themselves and to those they love – all in the name of fear.  They will kill them in the process of saving them – it is quite amazing, actually! Did you know that? <smile>

G – You see, my research has been quite extensive in this area.  When I first started out, centuries ago, my goal was to become the most depraved, sick and sadistic vampire on the face of the earth. It was more of a dream really… I tried – desperately tried – in every way possible – and when I say every way – I mean every way – to do that – to make my dream come true.  And do you know what it is I learned?

G – I learned, that no matter what I do – what I can dream up to do to someone – no matter how horrible and terrible it is – it is never – NEVER – as terrible as what people will do themselves in a moment of fear.  Its amazing! It is infuriating actually, <Chuckle>

G – Take these Lupines for example.  Brute creatures.  One on one most vampires do not hold a candle to them.  <makes breaking motiong> DONE! Where’s the fun in that?  But if you take all of the rage that they feel, all of this raw animal power and turn it against them – what happens? <whispers> Lets find out!

G – You see, these creatures, believe that vampires are creatures of “EVIL” – well they’re right.  We are.  But  they believe that there is an evil worm – I mean an actual worm – behind it all.  Like this great big worm is pulling the strings.  I mean crazy <whispers and mocks> a worm…

He puts his hand over the lupine and whispers something in a language you do not understand.  <MARAA PRA TA SARAA>

The Lupine stops struggling and gets silent for a minute.

G – Now, this great big – GGRRR – brute powerful creature – is afraid of a little worm! Can you believe that?

The Lupine looks almost dazed – he walks over and removes the cuffs from the Lupine.  He then walks back up to James and sits next to him.

G – Whispers – and they are terrified – that somehow – they would be infected by this worm.  Its such a bad plot – it almost seems like there should be a movie about it – the great worm threat!

G – And if there was – I wonder if this is how it would go…

<MARAA>

The Lupine stands up and stretches and lets out a fierce howl.  He takes one step towards you and stops.  He looks down at his mid-section, at his claws and howls.  Then he starts to scratch at his own arms and then looks down on his midsection and screams/howls and starts to scratch at it with his claws.  He literally claws his own belly out, and you see his guts spill out and finally, it falls to the floor dead.

<Gavin Claps>

Gavin looks down on the dead lupine on the floor –

G – Boy – what a mess! Well anyway – I got sidetracked there for a minute – but back to business.  I need you to find out information for me.  There is a friend of a mine, a dear dear friend, named Pedro – and I need to know if this Prince Darwin of yours, did something to him or knows what has happened to him.  You will do this for me, won’t you?

Gavin kneels in front of you – smiles

G – Just a minor disclaimer that I feel the need to tell you about – I do not need to be near you or in the same room as you to make your nightmares come to life.  I can do that from anywhere.  I can make you walk outside in the middle of the day thinking its night – I can make you cut your own insides out just like I did this Lupine.  Trust me when I tell you, I can reach into your mind and pull out the deepest and darkest horrors you can ever imagine and make you live out every single one of them.  I tend to do these things when I am … disappointed.

G – You wouldn’t want to dissapoint me now, would you James?  I get cranky when I am disappointed.

G – Now – just because I know you Camarilla types – you don’t like to do anything alone and you feel that you need to call in the cavalry to help or do the group hug thing – well lets just say that I want to make sure that you keep this project between you and me.  Without inviting anyone else into the Mix.  And because I want you to succeed, I am going to help you!

<Maraa – pra – di – saree – malamista…>

He whispers this to you and you feel a chill down your spine.  Your skin crawls almost and you feel suddenly that there is something under your skin. Then you feel a sharp pain in your head, and you almost pass out.  After a few seconds, it subsides.

G – You still with me, James?  Good – curses can take a lot out of you – but you! – what a trooper!  Now, I just want you to know that if you decide to run off and tell any of your little Camarilla friends about our arrangement or about me for that matter – Bad things will happen to you – so please think twice before you do that.

G – Well look at the time – I got places to be, people to skin, all kinds of things to do – so I have to go – but I want you to know – that I have really enjoyed our time today.  I will be in contact with you.

He walks over to the stairs – NATHAN – come here please.   A young man comes down the stairs – Boss?

G – Nathan – do you see that Lupine there?

N – Ewww – what happened here?

<Gavin whispers something toward Nathan>

G – He killed you – ripped your heart right out…

Nathan starts to scream and you see blood pouring out of his mouth and his chest like his heart was literally ripped out of his chest and then he falls dead in front of you.

G – Now your turn..

He looks at James and raises his hand and once again says <MAAAHAAAA>.

James feels like something is beating the absolute crap out of him.  Leaves his bruised and with gashes in his face and arms.

G – Looks at James – Now that should help you come up with some kind of story, eh? You do this for me, and I will release you from this curse – don’t and live forever with it – and trust me – you really do not want that..…<raises both eyebrows> – SEE YA!

Gavin walks out leaving James bloodied and locked up down here with 2 dead bodies.

K – I am not sure if you know – but Michael claims to be Kindred.  He claims to be part of Clan Toreador, however, he is very reclusive.

K – I assure you that my clan, Clan Nosferatu – has EXTENSIVE resources – and yet we have not been able to find any information about this Michael Bartley.  We have reason to believe that he is not he says he is.

K – This is where we need your assistance.  You are very talented in the areas of Web Design and you have a rappore with him already.  We need for to find out as much information about him as you can.  We have tried in many ways to get close to him but he has been able to find out us out at every step and our efforts have thus failed.

Juliette shows Deb around the entire area – she shows her the dining rooms, the meeting rooms, Including the very secluded Ventrue Room.

The doors  burst open and a young man steps in –

<Genevieve bursts in>

J – Its alright, Charles.  <looks to the child> Good Evening Genevieve – what a pleasure it is..

G – Oh put a cork in it Juliette – I demand to know why it is that you did this to me!!

J – <looks puzzled>I am sorry, my dear, I do not follow

G – Oh DO NOT PLAY dumb with me! I know exactly what you and your devious little clan are trying to do.  What I don’t understand Is why! WHY!

<Juliette raises an eyebrow>

G – I have tried so hard – SO HARD – to bring culture to this city – to all of you Neanderthals – but how do you thank me? HOW? You put up roadblocks at every single corner! Juliette looks at Deb confused and then looks back at Genevieve

J – Well, Genevieve – about that – it was his highness who declined, not our clan per se…

G – LIES! DO NOT LIE TO ME! The Prince knows how important this is to me and he would NEVER do this to me – NEVER!! Do you know what happened now? DO YOU? Well let me tell you – they are building their studio – but they are building it in MIAMI! They are laughing at me down there – Diego and his entire entourage are just laughing their asses off at me – thanks to YOU.  I know YOU did this!

<She is outright crying now and looks away>

G – I have tried so hard to educate you – and you refuse – I don’t know what else I can do – I certainly can’t try any harder! I thought that now, with the Kravitz center open you would finally understand and appreciate everything I do <sobs> BUT NO! <sobs sobs> YOU ARE ALL SELFISH and… and … and … RUDE and… and… HORRIBLE! Juliette walks up to Genevieve and puts her hand on her shoulder trying to calm her.

G – DON’T TOUCH ME YOU SNAKE! You – <points at Juliette> You are all nice to my face, but behind my back you all PLOT AGAINST ME! I know you – I know your clan!!  <points at Deb> and YOU – you are just like them, aren’t you – you are here to destroy me! I know you – all plotting like devious roaches that you are!

Juliette gets up <sigh> and grabs a box of tissue and brings it over to Genevieve.

<Knock on the door>

Charles – Madam I am so sorry to disturb you – but his highness is here.

J – Thank you, Charles.

G – <perks up and immediately stops crying> What? He’s here – the prince? But he never comes here…

Genevieve walks up to a mirror – she has no reflection – she turns and looks at Juliette

G – Oh Juliette, I must be a mess – he can’t see me like this – you must help me please!

Juliette sits down with her, and much like a mother would help a child, she wipes all the bood off her face, and pats her hair down.

Genevieve stands up and smiles – she looks at Deb –

G – So how do I look?

Genevieve is so excited she is giggling.

You walk back up to the main room and see Darwin standing there with his entourage – Lloyd at his side.

J – Your highness, what a pleasure it is to have you here – <She walks over to Darwin and puts her hand out.  Darwin kisses her hand>

D – the pleasure is mine, Juliette <smiles at her>

Genevieve steps up from behind Juliette.

G – Hello your highness, I am so glad you decided to join us tonight <gives him a dazzling smile>

D – <smiles> Hello Genevieve- a pleasure to see you as well.

Genevieve gives her hand just like Juliette did – Darwin smiles and kisses her hand too. She is all giddy and smiles.

D – Actually I was looking for Archimedes – is he here tonight?

J – Yes, I just saw him not long..

Genevieve interrupts – Your Highness, – I am the Clan elder and if you have something to discuss with Archimedes you can discuss it with me <smiles>

D – Erm – well – yes, of course <gives her an uneasy smile>  I wanted to discuss this studio business and I wanted to find out why you would authorize such a large venture without discussing it with me first? <raises an eyebrow>

G – <turns around> ARCHIMEDES! Come here.

Archimedes walks over.

A – Yes, My lady – what can I do for you <looks at Darwin and bows> Your highness…

G – waves him off – His highness wants to know why it is that YOU would authorize a new studio venture down here without speaking to him or me first? <looks irritated>

Archimedes looks at her and raises an eyebrow and then chokes on his answer a bit…

A – Well… err… well – I guess I assumed that it would be fine – <looks to Darwin> I am so sorry that I did not as you first your highness.  It was a grave error on my behalf and I am truly sorry.

G – Yes and you should be sorry – these things need to be authorized – now don’t you ever do anything like this again.

Darwin raises an eyebrow and just watches the back and forth between them.

She looks at Darwin

G – I will gladly take care of this, your highness – I will let the studio know that they cannot come here.

D – I believe that Henry has already taken care of that with the permits issue – I just wanted to make clear that going forward these little misunderstandings will not happen again.

G – Of course they will not – <she looks angrily at Archimedes – who bows down in shame. > I will make sure of it.

D- Well thank you, Geneveieve I appreciate that.  <nods at Juliette, Archimedes and Genevieve> now I must go – I have some matters to tend to – so please enjoy your evenings. <smiles> and starts to walk away.

G – Your higheness, surely you can stay for just one song – this performer we have here tonight is quite good and it would not be polite if you did not stay for just one song.

Darwin looks annoyed – Uhm – alright – a short one – <he looks at Lloyd angrily> But then I have to go .

Genevieve is all giddy and walks over to the couch where the piano guy is playing and whispers something to him.  Darwin walks over and sits on another chair – a single chair.  Geneveieve walks up and comes over to his chair and leans up against ti to be close to him.  He does not look comfortable.

The song plays and once it is over – he looks like he is ready to bolt out of that chair at any minute.  He stands up and says “That was very nice” thank you – I must go now.

G – grabs his hand – oh please your highness – why can you not stay? I am sure you will love it – stay for a few more.

He gently pulls his hand away from her, and gives an uneasy smile, – I am sorry Genevieve but like I said, I have some important matters to tend to.  Have a wonderful evening.  If you need anything else, Llyod will be happy to assist you.  He walks up and starts to walk way and Lloyd stays behind looking at Genevieve <What can I do for you my lady?>

Genevieve looks all disappointed – nothing and walks back to Juliette.

G – Did you guys see – he took my hand there at the end – did you see that? He likes me – we are destined to be soul mates, I just know it!

Archimedes bends down and takes Genevieves hand, Yes, indeed, I noticed my lady – why do we not go over here and get something to eat now?

Information that the Nosferatu have on Michael Bartley

• He has been seen out in daylight – photographed several times.
• He has been followed into a small apartment several times, from where he has simply just dissappeared.
• His security at his apartment is better than anything that the Nosferatu have seen.
• It is suspected that he has been working under another alias, working for a VR company under the name of Trent Summers.
• His online security of his files is encoded in encryption that is light years ahead of stuff even the government has – and is completely unbreakable.
• As far as they can tell – some of his servers lead nowhere.  They have traced his IP address online several times – past over 600 points of referrals and arrived at a big nothing.
• No one knows where he came from – all they know is somewhere out west and no record that the Nosferatu have been able to access (and they have good records) has any listing for a Michael Bartley anywhere.
• He has no listed Social Security number and the city where he was supposedly born in, has no listing of him ever being born – even as a human.
• There is also no information on this Trent Summers.  They do not believe that either name is his name.
• This is the best cover-up job that the Nosferatu have ever seen.

T – What happened to you? Although I must say that the sight of you all covered in the blood of what I assume to be Sabbat you have put down brings back fond memories.

T – I need to speak with you about some things –I was hoping you would be able to see me tonight – but – as you seem to be otherwise engaged, I will hence offer my services in aid to you here =)

D – Well, I appreciate it – but while in my city you are a guest, and it would be bad form for me to allow my guests to get dirty.  This should not take me long to sort out – why don’t we meet tomorrow night?

Thorus steps up to Darwin – moves in Closer

D – No, my friend – I would never refuse the aid of a friend – but I do refuse being in the debt of a Camarilla Justicar.  And whether you are here in an official capacity or not, I understand too well how the game is played. Darwin looks back at Octavian –

D – No – of course not.  Octavian please, I trust you will assist our guest in any way he desires for the evening.  I expect you back here tomorrow first thing.

O – Yes, My lord.  <he says to Darwin>

O – <looks over to Thorus> Your Excellency, it is my priviledge to show you around our beautiful city tonight.

Darwin waits until they are both gone

D – This is just great.  Just what I need now a Camarilla Justicar here….

Scott – D, You know Thorus is your friend right? He’s not gonna rat on you to the council?

D – Yes I know and the council is the least of my worries now – I care not what they do.  But, Thorus would not have come to see me in the capacity of “Friend” unless something else was going on.  I have a feeling those Tremere are behind this.  <He looks over at Scott and Decker>.  Find both of them and bring them to me tomorrow night.

D – <looks at Raven> – I want Clarissa tucked away tonight in the safety of my house.  She is not to leave for the next few days – I do not care what she believes she is entitled to at this point – she does not understand the dangers out there and I have not the patience to explain them to her.  Please work with Llyod to make sure she has protection during the day as well.  I want her well guarded.  If Gavin is behind this, he will come for her – this is a certainty.

D – I want everyone back here tomorrow night with every last bit of information you have managed to Gather.  We will hit every single hide-out they have and we will squeeze them out any way that we have to.  I am through playing games.  Broward may not be our territory but I am taking it over for tomorrow.

Scott looks at Decker

S – Well, that’s all fine and dandy there D, but we don’t really have a lot of info – we just have some places and stuff that we have been able to sight them at…

D – I do not care Edward – we will start there and I will kill every single Sabbat we come into contact with.  They dared come into MY city and this I will not tolerate.

Scott – Ok – don’t bite my head off – just the messenger here, dude.  We do it your way.

D – Decker I want full Lupine support for this – we have a treaty with them – It is time they start doing something for us.  And their people are in danger as well.

Decker nods.

Darwin walks towards the back of the room and throws the bloody towels on the floor, picks up the last tower which will definitely not be enough for him to wipe down …

D – Oh this is pointless, now I will have to change.  Claude come with me.
