Alden finds the mirror from his dream. He stands in front of it and sees a Fairy in it.
They play Simon says for a while, then after a bit – the fairy reaches out and grabs his shoulders and sucks him into the mirror/. The whole world shakes and he is very dizzy – when he wakes up he is laying down in a field outside – in the sun.
Sythra – Look what I have brought you sister
Sylphe looks at him – looks down at Alden –
Sylphe – what have you brought us?
Sythra – A VAMPIRE – TADAA!!
Sylphe – Why do we need a vampire?
Sythra – He knows, dear sister – he KNOWS!
Sylphe – <looks over to Alden who is still getting his bearings on the ground> So you know, little Vampire? Come – tell us what you know – where is he?
<Alden ….>
Sylphe – <looks at Sythra> He doesn’t know anything – why have you bothered us?
Sythra – That’s not true! He knows – Look! <pulls out the coin> He had this in his pocket!
Sylphe pulls the coin from her brother’s hand and looks at it closely.
Sylphe – The Royal seal it is – so you do know little Vampire. Tell us little Vampire – where are they hiding him? Where is the Prince?
<Alden>
Sythra – <raises his hand to talk> <CLAPS> Maybe if we cut his head open, we can see a map of where he is – like we did with the other humans?
Sylphe – Perhaps, <walks around – looks down at Alden> Why will you not tell us little Vampire? Why do you protect him? You are not foretold, there is no reason for you to protect him…
<Alden>
Sythra reaches behind himself and pulls out a very large golden knife
Sythra – HERE! Sister – I brought the Knife – cut it open and look! Do it fast – do it fast!
Sylphe – Wait – the other one did not have a map – remember? We cut him open even his middle and no map.
Sythra – But this one… TADAA – is a Vampire!
Sylphe – Hmm – alright – can’t hurt to try…
Sylphe takes the knife and looks down at Alden, who appears to be in chains all of a sudden. Sylphe puts the knife to his forehead and draws some blood as she starts to cut.
<BELL SOUND>
The two fairies look at each other – TIME FOR TEA!
They walk over to a table that was not there before – there is a full tea table set for them with cookies, etc. They both sit at the table, and a rabbit comes over with a tray
Rabbit – One lump or two?
Sylphe – One please
Sythra – 25 for me please
The rabbit puts the required lumps on both tea cups and they sit tea.
Sythra – So how was the rain today?
Sylphe – Wet my dear brother it wetted us
Sythra – I see and how is the cat?
Sylphe – Oh the cat well he is still missing a toe – but we should find it anyday now
Sythra – I see – did you know I saw Bobby last night?
Sylphe – Really? And how is he? Still watching over the queen?
Sythra – yes – he is very bored, he misses his carrots.
Sylphe = Ahh yes – the carrots – what about the potatoes he misses them too?
Sythra – No – he wants them to die – he gave me this knife…
The senseless talk continues for about 20 more minutes while they sip tea and eat cakes.
Then a bell rings again and the tea table is gone and they are once again standing in front of you with a knife.
Sylphe starts with the knife again and stops.
Sylphe – wait – remember the last one – he broke after we opened him. What if this one breaks too?
Sythra -<Looks at Alden> Will you break if we open you?
<Alden>
Sylphe – Looks at Sythra – perhaps he wants some tea?
Sythra – but the bell?
Sylphe – oh bells smells – <reaches behind his back and pulls out a rather large bell – he rings it and it sounds like a church bell>
You are now sitting at the table with the two of them – the rabbit is there and asks you how many lumps of sugar you want in your tea
Sylphe – <looks at you> So how is old Betsy?
<Alden>
Sythra – <Looks at Sylphe> Oh it’s a shame what they did to lassie isn’t it? I always wanted a dog like that!
Sylphe looks at Alden – do you have a dog, Bobby?
<….>
Sythra – looks at Alden – your tea is getting cold – aren’t you going to drink it?
When you drink the tea finally, you are sitting on Stuart’s couch – holding a cup of cold tea.
Your coin is gone.
