Darwin – looking at a picture of Ashley listening to music

Claude – Reading a book – “How to say no to your difficult Teen”

Scott – restless and complaining to everyone

Pazu – meditating

Lloyd – working on his laptop

Scott tries to talk to Darwin who doesn’t listen since he has the ipod on – kicks Darwin’s shoes –

S – What you doing?

Darwin takes off the Ipod and pauses it –

D – Ignoring you

S – Ha ha – I’m bored

D – Go read a book

S – I didn’t bring one.  And you have been reading this same book for the last hour – on the same page might I add.

He pulls the book from Darwin’s hand and a picture of Ashley falls.

<Picture dialog>

S – So this sucks you know – going back there –

D – Yes

S – Not for you – oh no not you – the great Ventrue hero – but for me – this will suck and its because of you

D – I am sorry <giggles>

S – I don’t think you are

D – It wasn’t on purpose

S – See when you laugh when you say you are sorry – it doesn’t mean you are sorry.  I DON’T BELIEVEYOU.  This is going to suck for me – you do know I am going to have to hurt someone.  You know I HATE that.

D – I am sorry for you  <puts on the headphones back>

S – Wait

D – What?

S – Do you think it has changed much – I mean the great hall?

D – Probably

S – are you going to be ok walking in there?

D – why wouldn’t I be?

S – Because – the last time you were there was to deliver the news of Amanda – and you don’t do the whole dealing with my feelings thing well

D – I will be fine

Darwin tries to put the headphones back on

S- wait – I’m still bored.

D – <Looks annoyed> -  You are annoying me.

S – yes I am and you deserve it – and bonus – in the process getting rid of my boredom – see? Two for one!

D – I can maker you be silent for the rest of the trip.

S – Gasps – YOU WOULDN’T

D – Continue to annoy me and find out

S – Fine – Looks in the direction of Pazu – going to see what Pazu is doing – hes more interesting than you anyway.

D – Do not bother Pazu

S – Why?

D – He does not like you.

S – GASP – he does not like me? How is that possible? Everyone likes me

D – Everyone except your own clan

S – Ok great – so now all of a sudden you decide to grow a sense of humor? I am going to go talk to Claude – or does he hate me too?

D – Claude is fine

S – Gets up to walk to Claude – looks over – HEY PAZU – EVERYONE LIKES ME, OK? EVERYONE…

He gets up pissed and plops down next to Claude.

S – Can you believe Pazu doesn’t like me?

C – I cant imagine

S – I know – everyone likes me

C – Indeed

S – So what are you doing?  And why do you read these self-help books – I mean you been around more than 2K years – what can these books do for you that you have not seen – I mean really?

<Claude puts his book down – reaches into a bag and pulls out a pad and papper>

S – What are you doing now?

C – Taking notes

S – <looks around > On what?

C – On the new book I will write.

S – Yeah?  What is it about?

C – How to not kill annoying people

S – ha ha ha – you are a barrel of laughs – you and Derek should start an act or something.

<He walks off now to bother either James or Alanwa>

For James – he will be asking him if he is nervous to see his clan

For Alanwa – he will ask if she is interested in Darwin
